Where’s Jaspa? (May 28th, 2013)

Today we enjoyed our first full day in what is our 49th U.S. state visited. Only one more to go… but that’s a story for another time. For now, can you identify where we spent today from the following photo…?

Yesterday’s photo was taken at Mount St Helens, of course. Even three decades on, the aftermath of the 1980 eruption is still an awe-inspiring sight.

Sadly, the low clouds refused to reveal the whole of the broken mountain to us. We had to be satisfied with the occasional fleeting glance into the bottom of the crater, but the rim stayed stubbornly cloaked.
