Today Rich ticked a destination off his bucket list with a visit to another volcano that blew its top in the past. This time the weather couldn’t have been more cooperative! Who can identify this stunning location in southern Oregon?….

That's one big aeroplane!

The prizes for last time’s brain teasers were:
A) Ten points goes to anyone who identified we were visiting the H-4 Hercules, better known as the Spruce Goose, at the fantastic Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.
B) Five bonus points went to anyone who knew the Spruce Goose (which was actually mainly constructed of birch wood) was the brainchild of Howard Hughes.

Rich's similarity with Howard Hughes is uncanny!

The size of the aircraft was staggering, and Bisckits was so excited when he realised he could actually go inside it. But when he found out we were signed up for a special tour of the flight deck, I swear he nearly exploded!
