Name That Ballpark #1 – Answer

Last Thursday I challenged you to Name That Ballpark, which I visited for the first time on August 25th, last year.

The answer was… drum roll, please…. Progressive Field, home to the Cleveland Indians! Congratulations to everyone who got it right, especially Laurie McKeeman, who was the only person to answer directly on the blog.

We had a great day in Cleveland followed by a fun ballgame, in which the home team beat the New York Yankees 3-1. To top things off, after the game we were treated to a free fireworks display set to the music of Bruce Springsteen.

Springsteen set to fireworks. Not really my taste in music, but still fun!

To date I’ve been lucky enough to see games at probably half the current Major League ballparks, plus two that have since been ‘retired’ and several minor league parks. So keep an eye out for Name That Ballpark #2 sometime in the future!
