Winter One-derland

Another week, another tenuous combination of travel themed photo challenges. Ailsa’s Where’s My Backpack? theme this week is ‘Winter‘, whereas the Daily Post’s word is One‘.

Here’s what I came up with….

One... big head! (Mount Rushmore, South Dakota, February 2009)

One... close encounter with a scary-looking mountain (Devil's Tower, Wyoming, February 2009)

  1. I’ve seen all those Wyoming places but not in winter when we’re back home. They’re beautiful in all seasons.

They really are, Janet. We were lucky enough to see them in the winter, but still have reasonably good weather. I’d love to go back and explore more in the summertime.

  2. Love your interpretations once again!!!!!
Yellowstone has to be one of our favourite places in the world – can’t wait to go back again one day.

You did indeed, Jeff! (For those that don’t know Jeff, he’s the Man in his Element.) Glad you’re enjoying the posts.

I’ve got lots of Hawaii-related blogs planned for the coming weeks, and I’m sure that some of the photos will make their way into more of the weekly theme challenges.
