Blowing Away the New Year’s Cobwebs

We had a really fun night with friends here in Ohio last night, welcoming in the New Year and celebrating Rich and Sue’s 10th Wedding Anniversary. Unsurprisingly, we were all a bit slow getting started this morning. So this afternoon we decided to head down to Blackhand Gorge State Park, just outside Newark, to stretch our legs and blow away the cobwebs.

Our three mile walk was just what the doctor ordered. The temperatures were refreshing without being too cold, and everyone – even the twins, Hannah and Sarah – enjoyed their stroll along the river. All in all, the perfect way to start 2014.
