What’s In The Surf?

I thought it’d be fun to play along with  Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge today. The title is What’s This?

Rich snapped these photos in Maui last month. Amazingly, they’re taken from a restaurant parking lot while searching for a geocache.

DSC_6153So, can you tell what’s lurking in the surf?

DSC_6149This post is further inspired by this week’s photo challenge of Breathe from Ailsa of Where’s My Backpack?

A mermaid? Okay I took Pat’s answer and had some fun with it.

  2. jpeggytaylor says:

Isn’t this a fun challenge Cee has set this week! Now what is hiding in the Hawaiian surf? I am seeing turtles … perhaps? And how amazing that you could see sea creatures from the parking lot!

  3. Leya says:

    Looks like a turtle…?

  4. Amy Parmeter says:

My only guess would be dolphins. During a rare (and glorious!) time when I wasn’t working, I used to take my beach chair and notebook to Point Dume near LA and see them ‘riding’ inside the waves!

  5. afairymind says:

I was going to guess dolphins but I saw the correct answer in the comments above! Great entry. 🙂

I'd love to hear what you've got to say!
