Serengeti Great Migration!

What’s Kathleen got in her hand?

IMG_2283A copy of the recently re-published Jaspa’s Journey: The Great Migration, of course.

But look more closely. Because the real question should be Where are Kathleen and her book?

Amazingly, the answer is: In the actual Serengeti!

IMG_2282The significance is that the book is set on the Serengeti Plains. And to my knowledge, this is the first copy to actually make it there!

Looking even closer, the animals in the photos are wildebeest (aka gnus), the main protagonists in the real, awe-inspiring Great Migration. This Wonder of the Natural World is the backdrop to my first adventure, which Rich, as a former environmental scientist, carefully captures in thrilling detail.

IMG_2280So if you haven’t already, head over to my website and check out the books. Maybe, like Kathleen, you’ll be inspired to visit the Serengeti for yourself!

Thanks to Kathleen and Jeff for taking their book on this once in a lifetime safari adventure!

This post is inspired by this week’s photo challenges of Hands from Ailsa of Where’s My Backpack? and Details from Jen of the Daily Post.

If you’re the sort of person that loves to experience the wonders of the natural world on your travels, why not sign up and follow my continuing Journeys here at Jaspa’s Journal (on WordPress or Bloglovin’), or through my website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr?

And if that’s not enough for you, the second and third episodes in the Jaspa’s Journey adventure series are scheduled to be released by Speaking Volumes later this year.
