Negril Sunset

I read this week’s selection of travel photo themes and immediately thought sunrise or sunset on the ocean. I eventually selected several pictures from one particularly beautiful evening during our stay in Negril, Jamaica, in March 2012.

 

This week’s photo themes are Pink from Where’s My Backpack?, Reflection from the Daily Post, Purple from Cee’s Photography and Joy from Nancy Merrill Photography.

    I didn’t realize the first time that these were from Negril. I was there in the 70’s on a trip with a bunch of friends. First time I’d eaten at restaurants that were all open and first time for lobster pizza. Not the first time I’d turned down the offer of gange, whatever the name or seen beautiful sunsets, but every sunset seemed better than the last.
