This week’s photo challenge words are Yellow from Ailsa at Where’s My Backpack?, Figure from Sue at A Word in Your Ear, and Selfie from Cheri at the Daily Post.
Unfortunately, at 3 ½ inches tall, I’m a bit small to take a selfie, so I borrowed one from Rich. This photo was taken at sunrise in Death Valley back in May 2011. Sue isn’t convinced the rocks and sand count as yellow. What do you think?
When you’re done dreaming of sunrises in warmer places, why not sign up and follow my continuing Journeys here at Jaspa’s Journal, or through my website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram?
And if that’s not enough for you, there are now three Jaspa’s Journey novels to enjoy as ebooks! Perfect for Kids 8 – 80!

It’s a bit of a stretch but I think you meet all three challenges 😀

Thanks Jude! That’s one vote in favour!
Love the long legs…. but don’t giraffes have long necks too? 😉
Great photo!!!
Thanks! Giraffes certainly do have long necks (and legs), but I’m a Giraffeses, so have neither!
